Embracing Simplicity

During our fast-paced lives, where every moment is filled with noise and distraction, it's crucial to pause, breathe and take a moment for ourselves. Earth & Nectar embodies the essence of simplicity, encouraging us to slow down and find solace in the little things. By embracing the philosophy of 'take a moment' we can unlock the beauty of living simply and rediscover the joy in life's everyday treasures.

When I was little, my grandmother gave me a beautiful gift when she said "Life wasn't meant to be a struggle". Earth & Nectar have embraced this profound wisdom, infusing it into everything we do, reminding us that life's true beauty lies in simplicity and moments of serenity.

Follow our guide and join us as we explore the magic of a simple yet blissful ceremony with Earth & Nectar's Ceremonial Cacao.

Step 1: Set the Scene

Before we dive into the ritual, let's set the stage for our serene moment. Find a quiet place, a comfortable chair, light an Earth & Nectar Soy Wax Candle infused with lemon myrtle essential oils, which evokes a sense of calm and harmony. As the gently flicker illuminates your surroundings, let the soft glow transport you to a space of tranquility, free from the demands of the outside world.

Step 2: Brew the Ceremonial Cacao

Ceremonial Cacao, derived from the purest form of cocoa beans, has been used for centuries to promote relaxation, introspection and a deep connection with oneself. For our Earth & Nectar inspired ceremony, we'll enhance the cacao's richness and sweetness with a touch of our Pure, Raw Western Australian Honey direct from our farm.

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the water until it reaches a gentle simmer.
  2. Add the Ceremonial Cacao and whisk it into the water until it forms a smooth, velvety consistency.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow it cool for a moment.
  4. Stir in the honey, cinnamon and milk and allow it to infuse the cacao with its delicate sweetness.
  5. Pour the Ceremonial Cacao into your favourite mug, ready to be savoured.

Step 3: Take a Moment

Turn off any distractions so you can fully immerse yourself in this moment, for just a short time. Allow your senses to be awaken as you bring the warm cup of ceremonial cacao to your lips. Take a slow, mindful sip, feeling the velvety liquid and savouring the harmonious blend of flavours. Close your eyes and let the rich aroma envelop you, grounding you in the present moment.

As you indulge in your cup of ceremonial cacao, take this time to reflect on the beauty of simplicity. Consider the small wonders that often go unnoticed amidst the chaos of everyday life. Whether it's the gentle rustle of leaves, the warmth of sunlight on your skin or the laughter of loved ones, cherish these moments that bring joy and fulfillment to your heart.

Continue to sip your ceremonial cacao and give yourself permission to simmer in this new path to tranquility and contentment.

Allow all worries to just be for a few moments, everything is perfect. Breathe in the perfect.
